Oval bowl with two handles in glazed ceramic, 1970-71

Vintage piece with a sculptural character, this ceramic bowl stands out with its oval silhouette, two side handles, and its dark exterior with a raw and irregular texture. Its interior reveals a geometric enamelled decoration in deep green, cream, and copper brown hues. Its dark material, irregular surface, and hand-shaped details give it a sculptural presence and a raw character, typical of certain handcrafted creations from the 1970s. Beneath the piece, a handwritten pencil inscription indicates "Bruno 1970-71". Dimensions: Length: 31 cm. Width: 12 cm. Height: 4.5 cm. Condition: patina and irregularities that contribute to the character of this piece. A crack is visible on one of the brown decorative bands inside, also present on the reverse, but in its current state does not seem to threaten the object's solidity. A piece of craftsmanship that is both decorative and expressive, which will find its place on a console, shelf, or coffee table, either alone or paired with other characterful pieces.
