Scandinavian teak display secretary buffet, restored piece from the 1960s.

There are pieces of furniture that carry a softness that time cannot erase. This one is among them. Born in the 1960s, at the heart of the golden age of Scandinavian design, it has traversed the decades with elegance, remaining true to its pure lines and warm teak. When I discovered it, it had spent 10 years in a barn. I immediately understood that it deserved much more than a simple cleaning. So, I completely disassembled it, and a true rebirth began. Piece by piece, it was stripped, sanded, and restored to the highest standards. I took care of every detail: The electrical system has been completely redone. A foot switch with a 2-metre cable has been installed to use the secretary part without necessarily having the light on. The secretary's hinges have been lubricated. The opening is smooth, but a "rubbing noise" inside the hinges persists. This does not hinder the use of the door, which is 100% functional. The feet have been protected with felt pads. An extra-matt varnish finish has restored the teak's light and silky touch. Today, it stands tall once again, proudly ready to write a new story. Its display case is perfect for beautiful objects, its lower storage offers ample space, and its secretary can become a small office corner or a discreet bar, depending on your desire. It will bring to any room that soothing, warm atmosphere, typically Scandinavian, where every detail is designed to last. This piece of furniture is not only functional: it is ready to find a new home that will appreciate it as much as it has been loved and restored. ✨ Features. Scandinavian teak furniture – 1960s.
