Art Nouveau style sugar bowl, produced by the German company WMF at the beginning of the 20th century, made of silver-plated metal with a cool, mirror-like shine. The body is decorated with a dense, wavy guilloche ornament running around the entire form, giving it a dynamic texture. The smooth, polished surface of the upper part and the stepped, round base contrasts with the decorative centre of the vessel. The handles, symmetrically placed on the sides, are bent into organic, plant-like lines with subtle botanical motifs characteristic of Art Nouveau.
