Gold metal and mother-of-pearl lamp from the 70s

1970s lamp, tree trunk base in gilded metal, mother-of-pearl shade set with brass. Very elegant, with a lovely, subdued light. Good condition with signs of wear on the base, where the gilding has faded in places, particularly on the back (see photos).
