Pair of black ceramic glazed candlestick holders, with a fluid design featuring double scrolls resting on a highly stylised tripod base, characteristic of the late Art Deco movement (1935–1950). Sculptural style. The underside, in light beige clay with a slight pink hue, unglazed and showing signs of firing, confirms a handmade or semi-industrial production from France or Eastern Europe during the Art Deco period.
