Lounge chair by Jean Gillon for Probel 1960s

Rare low-back armchair by Brazilian designer Jean Gillon. Beige leather on a dark Brazilian mahogany frame. The suede leather strap supports the comfortable cushion in a typically Brazilian style. The dowel construction makes it easy to disassemble for economical long-distance shipping. Some light cat scratches under the front part of the cushion. The wood is in very good condition. Slight wear under the cushion. Completely original. Manufacturer's mark on the lower frame.
