Pair of bridge art deco chairs in blue velvet

Very nice pair of art deco period bridge armchairs in solid tinted beech and blue velvet. We love the woodwork while curves that gives them a crazy elegance, especially at the armrests. The velvet fabric adds to their charm with its shimmering reflections that play with light. Robust and comfortable, they will find their place around the dining room table as well as in the living room or a boudoir-style room. The chairs are in good general condition. The fabric shows few signs of wear other than two or three small tasks, the largest of which appears in the photo. The seat and back are still firm, the chairs having been little used. The wood is beautifully patinated. The stops are a little scratched in places. The underside is clean. Seat height: 45 cm.
