Curule or dagobert canna chair

Curule chair (also called dagobert when it has a backrest like this) made of wood whose seat is made of a rattan canning. The front of the back has a sculpted floral decoration. This chair is not very old, 80s perhaps but without any certainty. It is in relatively good condition, it is solid and stable with a nearly intact canage (2 broken strands), but it still presents the traces of time: some scratches and spots, spin holes (quite numerous but not questioning the solidity of the wood) that I treated by injection of white vinegar. It may have been repaired in the past (glue trace and 2 small nails under the low crossbar). Its maximum width is 59.5cm, its depth is 52 cm. Its maximum height is 76 cm, with a seating height of about 35 cm. It weighs about 5 kg.
