Beautiful pair of art deco book greenhouses, designed by gh. Laurent and edited by max le verrier (ref n°444 of the catalogue), circa 1930. In a very stylized design typical of the time they represent pegasus, the divine winged horse, one of the most famous fantastic creatures of greek mythology. Green patinated metal. Good state of use, note some chips at the level of the marble bases and 1 sparkle on the tip of a wing (see photos). Base: 14x6cm high: 2cm - pegasus: 11, 5x4cm high: 16cm - total height: 18cm.
