Old Side Table Redesigned with Mahogany Marquetry

Period: ca. 1st half 20th century. This pretty little side table has been completely redesigned and is now a superb piece of unique decoration. It has two round levels and curved legs; the upper level is larger than the lower. Both levels have been modernized with a diamond-veneered marquetry design in mahogany veneer; this design brings out the wood beautifully and catches the light from all angles. The trays were finished with a glossy mirror varnish. The feet and edges of the table were painted in a satin black color. State: Very well. It is an old table that has been restored and refurbished to give it a second chance and save it from the shredding. She had minor surface repairs, was sanded, painted, plated and varnished by myself. The upper level is slightly curved (see photo). There are some inequalities in places under the paintcoat; it is after all an old table. Size: See photo.
