Large wrought iron floor candlestick, folk art, around 1900

Large floor candlestick made of wrought iron, a piece of French folk art from around 1900. The shaft is made of chain links welded together, and the tripod base is formed from three horseshoes. At the top, a scalloped dish and curved spikes hold the candle. Its deep black finish highlights the raw texture of the metal, with a beautiful patina from use. A true blacksmith's object, full of character, to be placed on the floor near a fireplace, in an entrance, or in a raw interior. Dimensions: H70 cm, base diameter 30 cm. Ref LDP: 20260202-006.
