Stool fishing storage chest fisherman's seat

This beautiful fishing chest will find many uses: it can obviously be used to go fishing, but it will also make an original and decorative storage for sewing equipment for example, or painting, or why not as a piece of sofa or bedside. Its two thin side drawers are uncommon. It has a lot of charm with its two-tone skaï seat, its pretty metal clasps and the little vintage sticker I chose to leave in place. It must be from the 50s or 60s. It is in good structural condition, solid and stable, but does not hide its age: the skaï is in good condition but has two small holes on the right front corner and some spots on the perimeter and underside. Clasps and hinges have surface corrosion (after a slight passage of iron straw to remove some of the corrosion, I waxed them slightly (along with the wood) to stabilize the process, but if you plan to use it in a wet environment, it would be good to pass an anti-rust varnish). Some screws are not original. A plastic skate is missing. The wood has marks (scratches, small chips and the trace of a large sticker in front) and various and numerous stains on the outside. The interior is rather clean for some compartments, for others, mainly the top and bottom, there are still stains despite careful cleaning (leaching with a brush inside and outside, then several sprinklers of vinegar and essential oil of mint). The shoulder strap (which I washed too) is very clean but not original it seems to me. It measures 49 cm in height, 38 cm in width, 26 cm in depth and weighs about 5 kg.
