We are delighted to offer for sale this superb wine decanter from 1904, or spirit decanter, with a sterling silver neck and cut crystal stopper. A decorative and aesthetic item with markings on the neck: manufacturer’s mark E&TL, ship anchor for Birmingham, date letter E for 1904, and a lion in a lateral position indicating sterling silver. The condition is good, used and vintage, with perhaps slight imperfections invisible to the naked eye. The antique glass still shows signs of age and use, but in my opinion, it is in perfect condition. Dimensions: height 27 cm, width 10.5 cm, depth 10.5 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. For additional or specific measurements, please ask. Feel free to ask questions before bidding. Please refer to the very detailed images that are part of the condition description. Note that vintage items like leather seats often have a natural patina with cracks, creases, and wear. It is recommended to regularly wax to prevent moisture loss, and hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to prolonged direct sunlight as it may dry out and discolour.
