Pair of antique gilt bronze toilet candlesticks - 19th century - Louis X style

Pair of small antique gilt bronze table or toilet candlesticks dating from the 19th century in the Louis XV style. Beautiful and deep bronze carving with twisted decoration and floral garland, branches, and laurels. Early 19th century. Very good condition, beautiful patina of the bronze. Note an old hole on the back, probably for a possible electric lighting. Height: 9.5 cm. Base depth: 8 cm. Length: 10.5 cm. Weight of the two candlesticks: 1.1 kg.
