Louis XV style work table (Sewing)

Elegant small bedside table or "work table" in precious wood marquetry (diamond patterns and thread designs). It rests on four curved legs typical of the Louis XV style. The top opens to reveal a storage compartment (originally for sewing). It features a lower stretcher shelf with a checkerboard marquetry decoration. Beautiful carved ornamentation on the apron.
