Plant pot, terracotta planter

Are you looking for a large antique terracotta pot that doesn't hide its age? Here it is, with a lovely rounded shape enhanced by a wavy "ribbon," a charming beige-pink colour, and especially with its patina, ready to be adopted as is or perhaps cleaned gently with a brush, as the clay is starting to flake on the surface. It must have endured frost for years, and it would probably be more interesting to use it now under shelter, like in a conservatory, to ensure it has many more years of life. I have left it as is, just dusted off. It's difficult to date, but given its appearance and the fact that I found it in an old farmhouse, I believe it is at least 40 years old, probably more. It is likely handmade and of good quality, as it is very thick and heavy. It is in generally good condition, with no cracks but certain marks that testify to its age: two fairly large but thin chips on the upper edge and on the side, a few small losses, the clay layer on the surface is flaking in places, and a white patina, possibly due to the limestone in the water, covers the lower part. It bears the marks of its age but can still last for years if treated with care. It measures 32 cm in height, 24.5 cm in diameter at the opening, and about 36 cm in maximum diameter.
