Glass ashtray, Italian design, 1960s, made in Italy

The ashtray was made in the 1960s in Italy. A geometric ashtray made of pressed glass in a delicate salmon-pink colour. Its distinctive shape, with fluted sides and pronounced edges, is reminiscent of the Art Deco style, although it may also have been produced in the post-war period (1950s–1970s).
