Vintage coffee table / side table in rattan and bamboo – 1960s

Vintage charm and bohemian chic spirit for this lovely coffee table (or large side table) made of rattan and bamboo from the 1960s. It stands out with its superb top surface made of woven bamboo marquetry (chevron/honeycomb pattern) and its curved lines typical of the design of the era (in the style of Louis Sognot). Very functional, it also features a second lower shelf with slats, perfect for sliding in books, magazines, or remote controls. Its light design and warm tones will bring a natural and cosy touch to a living room, a conservatory, or a bedroom. General condition: Good overall vintage condition. The table is stable and sturdy. It has a beautiful patina of time that adds to its authentic charm. Note: a slight discolouration/small stain on the bamboo top (visible in the zoomed photos) and minor signs of use on the rattan, which are quite normal for its age.
