Pair of traditional "horseshoe" chairs (quanyi) from the Shanxi province (northern China). Original brown lacquer on an elm structure with metal reinforcements. Very beautiful patina. Excellent condition. Late 19th century. Dimensions: H94 X W67 X D50. The seat height is 51 cm, but the total height at the backrest is 94 cm.
