Vintage Modernist Design S31 Stool by Pierre Chapo. Made in France during the 1970s. This tripod stool is constructed from solid elmwood, featuring a thick seat with natural veining and three crossed legs for support. Visible joints along the seat’s edge are characteristic of Pierre Chapo’s craftsmanship. The base of the stool, refinished in black at some point in the past, adds a bold and strong aesthetic to the piece. In very good condition with normal signs of use and age.
