DAX chair by Charles and Ray Eames

Very rare and exceptional, DAX armchair, from a special order from the house Dior with brown leather / burgundy to furnish his corporate restaurant. Order made at Mobilier International in its infancy. Estimate date: between 1954 and 1959 (the International Furniture logo was not yet existing). Presence of the signature International Furniture with address of the very first shop 166 suburb Saint-honored, bets 8th (totally not found). These armchairs are unique pieces that embody a major turning point in the history of design at the dawn of its industrialization. Some traces of use and time but very nice vintage state. Exceptional pieces for a collector or museum. A pair is available.
