Neo-rococo style brass watch holder

Period: ca. 1900-1920 this brass watch holder and pocket tray is composed of a circular base on short legs and a circular back plate, resembling the structure of a chair. The back plate, with pierced flame designs, has a hook for hanging a pocket watch. The style is loosely based on the louis XV style. The bottom is marked with 'hd 2, filed, d. Condition: good. Dimensions: 12.5 cm high, 8.5 cm wide at feet, 310 g.
