Are you looking for lighting that will not only illuminate a space but completely transform its atmosphere? Allow me to introduce you to an exceptionally rare cascade floor lamp from the 1960s or 70s, likely made in Switzerland by TEMDE. The lamp is constructed from metal and real wood veneer. The design brilliantly combines organic aesthetics with Space Age style. Stylised wooden columns resembling bamboo shoots, paired with honey-coloured ribbed shades, create an incredible lighting effect that is warm and incredibly cosy (as shown in the photo). It is a true Mid-Century Modern classic that fits perfectly into retro interiors and modern living rooms, serving as a centrepiece. It features five spherical artistic glass shades with a distinctive ribbed texture in a warm amber/honey hue. Number of light sources: 5 (arranged in a cascade at varying heights). Fully functional! The electrical system is complete, and the lamp includes a convenient foot switch on the cord. Excellent vintage condition. The wood has been preserved in a beautiful natural state with a slight patina that adds character. The glass is free from cracks or chips. The lamp has a few small areas of veneer loss at the base, as visible in the photos. Dimensions: Height: 128 cm. Diameter: 24.5 cm.
