With the Alky armchair, Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti created a timeless design icon that was far ahead of its time. He designed this armchair in 1969 for the Italian furniture manufacturer Anonima Castelli, renowned for its innovative designs and founded by Ettore Castelli in Bologna in 1877.
