Eiffel Tower shaped candlesticks made by the Portieux crystal factory

Rare Eiffel Tower shaped candlesticks made by the Portieux crystal factory located in the Vosges in France. "Eiffel" model made of colorless pressed glass present in the 1933 catalog of the factory on plate 131 under the reference 1841. The modest glassworks founded in 1690 by François Magnien de Magnienville became two centuries later the most important company in the Vosges with a thousand employees. The Portieux crystal factory is the heir to one of the oldest French crystal manufacturers specializing in goblet, decorative and fancy items. This factory is now a subsidiary of the Parisian company Les Jolies Ceramices sans Kaolin. I measured 28 cm in height and 10.5 cm in maximum section, a weight of 690 g. Excellent condition, no chips, no scratches or chips.
