Salad bowl L XV "Fine street lamp" KG Lunéville

Square fruit bowl / salad bowl on heel in fine half-porcelain earthenware, stamped kg (keller & guérin) Lunéville France, "réverbère fin" model, Louis XV shape. Decorated with bouquet tulips and scattered flowers on a white background. Lobed border, enhanced with a carmine red line. Five old chips on the edge (see detailed photos), rare and tiny traces of use, no trace of rubbing, clean heel. A jewel of French earthenware, both fresh and majestic, the "réverbère fin" decoration has its origins in Lunéville around 1750, inspired others (such as the "vieux strasbourg" by Villeroy & Boch and "marlborough" by Spode) and was produced until May 2022, the date of the definitive cessation of the activities of the Lunéville & Saint-Clément kg factories. The cup offered here dates from the 1970s. Diam. 31 cm (27 cm on each side), h 11 cm.
