Mahogany china cabinet

Buffet, mahogany and veneered dresser, late 19th century - 1900, in discreet art nouveau style. It is composed in the center of a recessed space, including a mirror with beveled edges (slightly pitted). topped by a niche with a beveled glass door, with shelf. On each side, there are also two niches with beveled glass doors and a small shelf. Below, three drawers with large bronze pull handles, as well as two doors with keyholes in the same alloy. The interior is lined with a 41 cm deep shelf. The fronts of the doors and drawers are dressed in mahogany burl veneer. Dovetail assembly drawers. The doors lock and the unit is supplied with 4 keys (which are not original). The interiors of the drawers as well as the back of the furniture are in oak. Furniture that can be dismantled into three elements (and delivered in three parts, the pins for assembly are provided). The "fronton", a little damaged at its top, can be dismantled (see the two photos with and without). Some defects from use, some xylophagous worm holes, and missing a molding on the right foot. It remains a very pretty piece, elegant and sober. We appreciate its tremendous storage capacity.
