Suite of 6 Chairs Baumann model Pegasus in beech and faux black leather

Rare suite of six chairs answering the evocative name of Pegasus, designed in the 60s and published by the famous Baumann house for the development of the Le Corbusier Housing Unit in Firminy. Their line is simply beautiful, with the seat and back that appear levitating, and the long spindle feet that seem endless. Chairs with a light and elegant appearance, but solid and comfortable, of a very good quality of manufacture. If the solid beech structure of each chair is in good general condition, with the exception of the lack of a screw cover on one of them, the faux black leather has unfortunately suffered. On the chair with the missing screw cover, it opened at the seat and has two holes at the back of the back. On another chair, there are two snags on the back stop of the back. There are also important tasks on the sweat of a third chair. The last three also have defects, less visible but present: discoloration tasks of the imitation or projection of micro-droplets of paint, small snags ... Many flaws but that do not spoil the overview of these mythical chairs. Seat height: 46 cm
