Tripod armchair early 20th Century Breton movement

Beautiful tripod chair early 20th in turned wood (massive carved oak). Superb work of the breton art movement ar seiz breur.this active artistic movement between the first and second world wars brought together some sixty artists who were campaigning for a renewal of traditional breton art, agreeing on the creation of modern art in brittany. The wood has worked and the back rest has a crack (no consequences for the stability and strength of the chair. The moss-green velvet and the stripe show signs of wear. Beautiful rare object, full of authenticity of a traditional know-how (my breton origins seem well anchored!). One thing is certain, it will not go unnoticed! Height: 92 cm seat height: 46cm.
