3-seater highback Capella sofa in oak by Illum Wikkelsø, Denmark 1960s

This impressive Danish Modern model Capella high-back 3-seater sofa was designed by Illum Wikkelsø in 1959 and manufactured by Niels Eilersen in Denmark during the early 1960s. It features a high-quality frame of solid oak wood with paddle-shaped armrests and characteristic wood joints. The sofa comes with the original high-quality woolen plaid upholstery and metal zippers. The fine sofa is in excellent vintage condition, showing minimal traces of use and light wear consistent with age.
