Italian design chandelier bubble glass 9 arms 1970

Majestic Italian style design chandelier composed of 9 arms: square glass blocks (with rounded corners) and extending by a rounded neck towards the ground. In the spirit of Gaetano Sciolari's chandeliers. The translucent and very thick glass with air bubble inclusions is of exceptional brilliance and quality. Each square of glass weighs 0.6 kg. The dimensions are exceptional. The glass blocks are arranged on tubular arms of 9 different heights, while composing a square set. This makes each glass block a set in its own right and gives a majestic visual effect. The bubble glass technique is a decorative process consisting of voluntarily creating gaseous bubbles in the glass mass. The frame in very good condition is made of chrome-plated tubular steel. Some gaps on 3 squares (including a sparkle of 3m X 3cm on the upper part of a block and invisible when the chandelier is hung and 2 blocks with cracks) but unscible to the naked eye. See photos. The electrification and sockets have been changed. Comes with 9 new led bulbs. A unique and exceptional design work.
