Two very beautiful and original ‘Bubi’ pendant lamps, Denmark, 1960s. The Louis Poulsen 16600 (Bubi) pendant lamp has an ambiguous shape – it can be seen as an acorn, a spaceship or a spinning top, for example. It was designed by Henning Koppel, who is best known as a designer of fine silver jewellery, tableware and watches. Bubi's flowing lines are also undoubtedly reminiscent of a necklace with a pendant. This is the original old model from the 1960s-70s, produced by Louis Poulsen (branded on both lamps) in genuine brass and plastic shade, not the new model from Gubi in chrome-plated aluminium. They are 14 cm high and 20 cm in diameter. Both are in very good condition with no dents or cracks, only minimal wear marks and small signs of use. One bulb per lamp is included (both use a standard E14 bulb). The price is for the pair = both lamps Packed securely and sent with insurance.
