Suite of 6 Bauche model chairs by Charlotte Perriand, circa 1960

Beautiful set of 6 living room chairs, bauche model n°19, designed by charlotte perriand published by steph simon in the 1950s. This model demonstrates perriand's vision of the harmony between modernism and nature. Their structure entirely in ash consists of four log legs connected by spacers accommodating a seat and a back in woven straw. In beautiful original condition, they have a lovely patina which adds to their charm.
