Rare and beautiful: set of 2 small handmade ceramic bowls. Irregular shapes: each bowl is slightly different, suggesting hand-made (thrown or modeled). Interior glaze: beautiful brown glaze effect with pink and gold highlights. Exterior glaze: more vivid, beautiful bronze hue with scratched texture. Signed: a mark incised in the clay before firing: "md" with a diamond., certainly the initials of the ceramist, a typical signature of contemporary handmade ceramics, often produced by independent potters or workshops. No other indications on the maker and provenance. Beautiful condition. Diameter: 8.5 cms and approximately 5 cms high.
