FREESTANDING DESK, DENMARK, 1960s/70s, VINTAGE, MID-C

A sleek, compact desk made in Denmark during the 1960s/70s. It is finished in beautiful teak veneer and features solid, darker-toned teak legs. The desk includes three drawers with sculpted solid-wood handles—a hallmark of Danish design. It is a practical, well-proportioned piece. The back of the desk is also beautifully finished, allowing it to be used as a freestanding unit. The desk has undergone a complete restoration: old finishes were removed, the wood was lightly stained to even out the tone, and the surface was sealed with several coats of a hard-wearing, water- and dirt-resistant oil-wax.
