Vintage Mid-Century Danish Modern Wooden Sideboard with Drawers, 1970s

This classic sideboard was made in Denmark during the 1970s. It is constructed from extremely interesting and rare exotic wood. The wood grain is delicate and harmonises with the overall aesthetics of the furniture. The sideboard features three drawers in the middle, while the outer cabinets have sliding doors and shelves inside. Contrasting edges emphasise the geometric and closed lines of the design. The base consists of elegant wooden skids in a shade of brown darker than the chest. The functional and visually light sideboard has a form characteristic of the Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern era.
