Armchair with fixed base ends model 12a1 created by Charles Pollock probably dating from the 1980s/1990s (rotating seat with adjustable height and tilting back) Published by Knoll from 1965 to today. Monocoque shell molded in black plastic. Extruded aluminum surround, chrome-plated, polished. This metal surround firmly holds the shell, the pressed steel seat deck and the black leather covering in position. Die-cast aluminum base.; chrome base and surround (good condition of the chrome plating). Leather covering with some minor defects (a missing padded button on the seat back; a cigarette burn on the seat; 3 tears in the leather without tears) Adjustable seat height (manually; in position low, the “spring cylinder” appears at the bottom of the base); system which also allows the chair to be tilted backwards thanks to a spring integrated into the upper part of the base. Dimensions: height 830mm (non-adjustable seat height 450/530mm); width 660mm; depth 700mm. Delivery to Paris 40eur (frequency of once every 6 weeks; other destination please contact me).
