Mid century pendant lamp by Temde Leuchten, 1960s

Very atmospheric mid-century hanging lamp from the german-swiss brand temde-leuchten. His lighting from the 60s was made with sisal rope (typical for temde) and has certain accents in teak wood. The lamp provides a very atmospheric light and undoubtedly adds a scandinavian accent to your interior. The lamp is in very nice vintage condition and has been fitted with new wiring. Temde-leuchten was founded in 1911 and was a german-swiss manufacturer of lighting fixtures. Wood was always the most important basic material and by the mid-1950s the company offered around 250 basic models. In 1986 temde-leuchten filed for bankruptcy. During its existence the company won 31 if design awards.
