Scandinavian vintage rya rug. 259 (278 incl. Fringes) X 139 cm (102 (109 incl. Fringes) X 55 in) Rya (long pile/shag) technique, wool on wool. Jugendstil inspired floral pattern, period characteristic peaceful color palette with some bright accents. The date 1941 is incorporated in the pattern. Hand knotted in sweden, 2nd quarter of 20th century.
