Beautiful work of folk art, carrying in its center a clock awake morning, the façade is entirely carved with volute rosettes bearing the monogram I h s and the sacred heart, devotion to the heart of jesus christ, as a symbol of divine love by which god took human nature and gave his life for men. This devotion is particularly present within the catholic church. Height 23 cm, width 19 cm, depth 7 cm. Condition: revised movement and small crack on the top of the sculpture. France late nineteenth or early twentieth.
