iGuzzini illuminazione was established in June 1958 by Raimondo Guzzini. The name ‘Harvey’ is derived from a 1950’s movie of the same name, which features James Stuart and an invisible rabbit called Harvey. In the early sixties it became a family business when his 5 brothers joined the company. The ‘Flash’ floor lamp was designed for Harvey Guzzini in 1968, by Studio 6G. The design consist of a chrome, metal structured base and a methacrylate sphere, which reminds of a flashlight; hence, the name.
