Czech sofa Miroslav Navratil

Sofa convertible into a bed, made in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. Designed by Miroslav Navaratil. Very nice piece typical of Czech design of the 60s. Original label still present and in good condition. Very good condition of the seat and sofa in general, beech structure, seated in good quality fabric. Seat height: 43 cm. Sleeping space: 189×85 cm. Miroslav Navril is a Czech designer. He was born in 1913 in The region of Zlon. He is a member of a studio called V.V. nebytk-ského premyslu (Development of the Furniture Industry. Miroslav Navratil used innovative techniques for the time through the use of fiberglass. One of his best-known achievements is the "T3" tram chair. He died in Brno in 1999.
