Rocking chair by the Swedish Karl-Axel Adolfsson for Gemla Möbler. 1950s. Lacquered wood. Reupholstered with Rougel fabric. The height of the backrest gives it a great presence. Nice detail on the end of the armrest which recalls a ball of banister.
