Primitive Folk Art Chair

Traditional antique mountain chair from southern germany. This characteristic and primitive chair is made entirely by hand and is connected with mortise and tenon joints. This example, which is probably made of fruit wood, has acquired a beautiful patina over the years. The chair is sturdy and suitable for daily use. The date is around 1850. 52cm seat height, 99cm back height, 44cm wide, 42cm deep.
