Scailmont table lamp 1920s

Magnificent Art Deco period table lamp. Like many lamps of that time, it carries a floral-themed lampshade, combined with a curved brass frame. In this case, the foot of the lamp is even heart-shaped. The lamp is manufactured by The Scailmont GlassWorks of Manage in Belgium, a company known for the colored glass projections used for the lampshade. This particular lamp has the original bajonnette style socket. Lamps for this are widely available, so there is no need to replace the socket.
