Architectural entourage in carved and polychrome wood – Orientalist work from the early 20th century. Original architectural entourage in carved and polychrome wood, richly decorated in an oriental style, likely inspired by traditional art from North Africa or the Middle East. The façade features an openwork geometric decoration at the top, composed of interlaced patterns, framed by panels adorned with stylised rosettes. The side posts are finely carved with vegetal scrolls and enhanced with polychromy in green, red, and ochre tones. The upper crossbeam and central arch adopt a scalloped shape, typical of oriental architectures, enriched with carved and painted motifs. The whole offers a beautiful decorative presence, ideal for integration into an eclectic or characterful interior. Dimensions. Height: 139 cm. Width: 171 cm. Depth: 4 cm. Condition. Used condition with visible wear to the polychromy and wood, consistent with age and use. Minor alterations, losses, and signs of age that contribute to the charm of the whole. Back covered with a fabric (later addition).
