A shelving system from the 1960s, framed in a lightweight construction made of delicate metal ladders. The teak-veneered furniture elements display an objective materiality; the boards can be flexibly arranged. The basic forms of the reduced design are the black metal supports from floor to ceiling. These accommodate two deep cabinet sections, a shallow display cabinet, and five shelves. One cabinet section is equipped with four drawers with brass handles, all other cabinet elements have a lockable revolving door and an interior shelf, and one display cabinet with a structured glass sliding door. The warm teak veneer forms a beautiful contrast to the black metal and presents a beautiful wood look. All wooden modules have integrated brass sleeves on the underside. Small metal anchors hang between the metal support and the wooden modules. The cabinet elements are firmly locked inside with screws to prevent them from tipping. The original keys are present. A label is located in a cabinet module. The beautiful depth effect of the wood has been regenerated thanks to sanding and a multi-layer oil treatment. Good general condition, with some minor signs of wear. The furniture has been completely overhauled by a professional. Dimensions: container: width, 88 cm. Height, 50 cm. Depth, 42 cm.
