Philippe Starck John Ild Triple Bookcase for Disform 1977

Stunning triple set of John Ild shelving units, designed by Philippe Starck in 1977 for Disform Spain. This is one of Starck's first creations. The complete unit consists of 4 matt black coated tubular steel rods, which supports the matt black lacquered wooden shelves through an ingenious system. In total it has 15 shelves, which are 100cm wide, the depth of the shelves is 20 - 40cm. The set is in good original condition with some traces of wear. The shelves have some light superficial scratches. One pole has some lacquer damage at the bottom and another pole has a little damage at the bottom. Both visible in the last 2 pictures.
