Superb vintage ceramic teapot from the German manufacturer *Mitterteich Bavaria*, 1970s. We love its minimalist and warm look, typical of 70s Scandinavian / wabi-sabi design: thick cream / ecru porcelain body, wide clay / caramel band at the base, highlighted by two fine black stripes. The top of the neck features the same caramel band. Its lid is the standout piece: speckled brown stoneware with a lava / foam effect, very textured, a signature of Mitterteich. This is a teapot that has charm, both rustic and refined. Perfect for a bohemian kitchen, Japandi style, or for a true tea lover. Authenticity marked on the base: stamp "Mitterteich - Germany - Unterglasur handgemalt, " which means "hand-painted under glaze" in German. A guarantee of quality and craftsmanship. Mitterteich, Bavaria - Germany. Vintage 1970. Stoneware / fine ceramic, glossy glaze inside / textured matte lid. Unterglasur handgemalt (hand-painted under glaze) Cream ecru, caramel / light terracotta, speckled brown, black stripe. Vintage 70s, Wabi-Sabi, Brutalist, Japandi, Minimalist, Bohemian. Round handle, fine spout. Very good vintage condition. Functional. No cracks, no chips. Clean interior, .
