Superb “emaux des glaciers” vase from Annecy/Vallauris. In 1948 Charles Cart, ceramist, founded the Cyclops pottery, specializing in enamel work. In 1961, he registered the brand “poterie d’annecy” which in 1963 became “the cyclops – glacier enamels – snow enamels. » Superb turquoise blue color, it is composed of glazes that are both eruptive and dug like craters.
